Themed Parties

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE parties, galas, soirees, and anything that has to do with celebrating! Themes are a wonderful way to incorporate all aspects of a celebration...from the invitations, decor, food, desserts and even down to the favors. Here are some awesome ideas:

Peacock Feathers or Purple and Teal Theme

French Inspired/Pink and Black Theme

These are some of my favorite ideas. Hopefully the next time there is an event a them an be the base for party ideas. Even if a theme isn't wanted, colors can also play a big role in the "WOW" factor.

Happy Planning!

Jocelyn + Adrian

Preview of a wedding we coordinated at the beautiful Venetian Terrace on Mandalay Canal in Las Colinas, TX last month.

Beautiful Door Decor made by the bride!

The venue was located on the canal...so romantic!

The reception took place inside of the restaurant. This was taken before the flower centerpeices arrived. The food was spectacular!!!

These take out boxes were filled with chocolate kisses for guests to take home.

The table setup before the centerpieces.
These pictures I've taken don't do justice. This is a MUST SEE IN PERSON location. Once I receive images from Chris Wilson of C. Wilson Photography, I will post them!

Quiana + Charles = East Coast Meets the South!

Quiana and Charles wedded September 4, 2010 at The Ballpark in Arlington, Texas (Diamond Club). I was privileged to coordinate their wedding that was perfectly planned wedding. I think Quiana was probably my most organized bride since I've been in the wedding industry. She had everything labeled and ready to go when I picked everything up. She even gave me some decorations that she didn't want to keep, which is a plus for my future clients who can't afford certain decorations. THANKS QUIANA!

It was truly an unforgettable event, especially for her guests (99% of them were out of towners).

Here is a sneak peak of the wedding!

Krystle + David

I finally got images to Krystle and David's wedding from June 2010.

Venue: The Atrium in Garland, TX.
Photographer: Amigo Video & Photography
Cake: Family Friend (Patty Medina)
Florist: Groom's Aunt (I'm sorry I forgot her name)

This was my first LIVE centerpiece! I did do a trial run before the wedding to make sure this would work and luckily, no fish were harm or died in the process.

Hope you like the pics!

* Not all images were by Amigo Photo, some were taken by A La Mode Soirees.

Open House!!

Open Houses are a great way to meet people and view products/displays. I was fortunate to be a part of an open house at Al's Formal Wear at Firewheel Mall in Garland, Texas several weeks ago. I have uploaded several images featuring my table display. It was scorching hot outside and I was right in front of the window....good thing my candy didn't melt!

It was fun creating these candy labels and they turned out sssooo cute!

I designed and wrapped these miniture choclates the night before the open house. I had a helping hand from my awesome boyfriend. He didn't mind since he was able to eat some!

They were gorgeously displayed on this beautiful glass pedestal.

Kristela + Joe = HIP & MODERN

Kristela and Joe were truly a perfect pair!

Down to the details, this wedding was FANTABULOUS!

The candy bar display and photobooth was a HIT! These are so trendy right now! The Atrium at The Granville Arts Center was an absolutely stunning venue! Mark Wilson, the Event Director there, was helpful, had a great sense of humor, and was a pleasure to work with!

This was my favorite picture! Kristela and her daughter Mia!
Working with Kris and Joe was an awesome experience! I wish them both the best of luck and happiness for years to come!

Hawaiian Themed Celebration

I had the opportunity to coordinate Rita & Henry's Hawaiian-themed wedding in May 2010. This was my first THEMED wedding and it was so much fun!

This wedding took place at The Filter Building on White Rock Lake, a perfect place for this theme! Guests were greeted with leis and signature blue cocktails to cool them off in Texas' heat. They were then escorted outdoors where white garden chairs were set overlooking the sparkling lake.

The bridal party walked in from the lovely sounds of a Hawaiian band. Bridesmaids had beautiful blue parosols to block out the sun. Rita and Henry's ceremony was gorgeous!

The reception was decked out in Hawaiian decor and entertainment!

From escort cards marked with beautiful blue, irredescent stones, sand-filled centerpieces, a palm tree made of pineapple bases and adorned with fruit kabobs, hula dancers, and the Hawaiian band playing during dinner hour made this a memorable and festive event. By the end of the evening, the guests were worn out from tunes the D.J. was spinning.

Overall the guests had a great time, everything went well, and Rita and Henry were husband and wife!
